My solution, dont know if is the right section, but this is certainly easier than others i have read

(1) Remove 'screw' by turning anticlockwise slightly, it will pop up about 1mm put screwdriver b.JPG
(1) Remove 'screw' by turning anticlockwise slightly, it will pop up about 1mm put screwdriver blade between 'screw' and washer using blade and fingers lift both out. 'its only a push pin fitting'

(2) Unscrew power steering bottle cap, remove cap and washer, lift cover off from the bottom rig.JPG
(2) Unscrew power steering bottle cap, remove cap and washer, lift cover off from the bottom right side, replace cap 'now'

(3) Place cover, washer and push pin in safe place, not like this!!  replace and double check ca.JPG

(5) Grip steering fluid bottle from left and right placing thumbs on top and fingers down sides .JPG

(6) Steering bottle hoses are squeezed behind steelwork next to radiator as per picture. Grip th.JPG
(6) Steering bottle hoses are squeezed behind steelwork next to radiator as per picture. Grip the washer bottle filler with two fingers under the 'boot shaped' lid-filler and twist left and right while pulling it out.

(7) View with standard H-light, cover and bulb removed. The cables in view are quite loose and c.JPG

(8) Another view. Put bulb in, fix spring, reconnect cable, check back of cover for 'TOP' insert.JPG

Splendid detail, dehp can you please now do the same for a Mk 2 Megane because I sold my Laguna 2 almost 3 years back. :)

I agree. The Megane II is a pig for changing bulbs...
Apparently it's something to do with the design for safety... :crazy: Not a very good one, as you have to break your fingers to get to the bulb!

can someone tell me what the standard socket size for the headlamps is on the lag II 1.9dci, 2003


H7 or H4 or something...??, Haynes manual doesn't state.??

im thinking about getting some of these ive got some small ones in my sidelights, its been 6 months now did you get some/what they like

Great instructional post dehp, thanks for the info, had my bulb out and replaced within 10 minutes last night.

Was shocked when I looked in the Haynes manual, they say bumper removal is the way to do it!

Laguna II dCi 2.0 56 seems to be a much simpler affair; I just removed the screen wash filler neck and had access to all the bulbs. But then, I do have hands the size of a 10-year-old. :d

re: socket size, do you mean what bulb? if so this might help Dip H7 (499) Main H1 (448) Side W5W (501). What the numbers in brackets are I have no idea but the bulbs seem to have both designations on them.
