Hi , hope this helps someone, I have a Laguna II , it was using water and I had detected the occasional wiff of steam, but could find no leaks, after two visits to the garage to no avail and having the system pressure tested and water tested for carbon, I replaced the Header Tank Cap and Bingo ! problem solved, after having heart failure with the garage talking about "warped" cylinder Head etc ! It has now not lost any water since replacing the Cap.
