Every time I hear UB40's 'Red red wine' I think of Leroy fondly, he was a great guy
Not sure if i've ever told anyone this but a good few years back when I was going through a really bad time in my life (divorce), Eddie was a rock for me - he chatted to me most days on PM. He asked me for my address, which alarmed me a bit but something said give it to him - he's trustworthy. It was nearing xmas and I received a package. It was full of luxurious perfumes from the company where he worked, this touched me so much and really made my christmas - such an act of human kindness. To this day I often think of him and shed a little tear - why does he take the good ones?!
