The timing belt has been done, now I need to resolve the starting issues - rare at the moment, but enough to be annoying.

I changed the TDC sensor on my Clio no problem, and I'm looking in the right place but I just can't seem to see it!?

Does anybody have any experience with the TDC on a 1.6 Auto, does the sensor look the same as a car with a manual gearbox? I removed the air box but still couldn't see what I wanted to!

Also, cleaning tips for when I do find it would be much appreciated :d

It's a 2002 Scénic 1.6 Auto Dynamique+

Do not know if its the same as a laguna but my tdc was located under the bracket which hold the airbox - just on the rhs of the main engine block.
