I have just bought a Gran Espace with a 2.0 L petrol engine which is also converted for a wheel chair and i was thinking of LPG conversion, does anyone have any experience of LPG with the Espace range?

I've got a 2000 2.0 Scenic which I think probably has a variant of the F4R engine in your Espace?

I've done over 10,000 problem free miles since converting the car to LPG with a multipoint injection system.

price for a LPG conversion on a F4R engine is about £900.
i have a conversion on my lag2 f4p, done over 30k, no major issues, very economical compared to petrol @ 0.74/L.

the only issue I can see, assuming you need to keep the wheelchair access is mounting the LPG tank. I'm guessing the best location would be mounted under the rear floor in place of the spare which means an external toroidal tank.

You may also need an interface to keep the digital fuel display accurate

I'm now looking at the same idea for a 2.0T Espace Mk4. Can anyone recommend a suitable device to keep the car's fuel computer happy. Its not an exactly low tech setup.
