can anyone help.???

i have a 2005 trafic. symptoms are low power until 15-2000rpm. then a bit more power then get to around 2800-3000 then slight hesitation. i have replaced fuel pump solenoid fuel filter map sensor and boost solenoid also i purchased a MAF sensor from a local motor factors for i think was £60 but when i unplug it while the van is running it stalls is this correct or should it still run without it plugged in??

In simple terms, if the computer doesn't know how much air is going in, then it can't compute how much fuel to put in.

thanks for the reply. i understand this. but i have read up on the maf and from what i can gather if the MAF is disconnected the van should still start and run. so when i disconnect mine it cuts out and wont start without it connected
any ideas??

Some of these engines will run with it disconnected some wont
There is no hard and fast rule on a MAF

Check your Turbo is working correctly

i have checked turbo spooling up normally i have replaced the maf from a motor factors. boost pressyre solenoid and map sensor. fuel pump regulator and still low on power until about 1800 to 2000 rpm. then hesitates around 3000
