Hi all,

We have just had a new clutch fitted. The clutch seems fine but every now and again it wont release the automatic handbrake - especially when on a hill. I am sure this is the problem and not that it isn't actually engaging first gear because I would expect it to happen all the time were it to be a problem with the clutch.

Question is, does this sound like an electrics problem as a result of replacing the clutch? The battery and oil light also randomly come on and the elctric window is now also tempremental since the clutch was fitted!

Anyone guess at a diagnosis and potentiol cost? We can't get it to the Renault garage for a few days and the fella who fitted the clutch is saying it's a seperate problem. Cue lots of arguments and stress!

It's the little things that matter! some times :d

I wonder if an earth point has been loosened during the clutch change. Ie where a - negative battery feed is bolted to the gear box, engine or body work ?

Sorry I'm not up on Laguna's myself
