Hi, I recently bought a 2003 master van and on the way home had a rear tyre blow out. The tyre tread remained intact but side walls totally disintegrated.
I had a good look at the damage and noticed that the tyre has rubbed the leaf spring and exposed some of the glass fibres in two places.
Does anyone know if this is likely to be a safety concern? How tough are these composite springs and has anyone heard of problems?
