can anyone help me locate the fuses for the side lights on my Megane. The rear near side bulb blew and took the fuse with it. I have tried to locate it in the fuse box inside the car but there isn't one. Anybody know where it is located, size of fuse and how I identify the correct one?

Thanks in advance

hi there if you open bonnet on the nearside inner wing round by the battery you will find the upc under the covers, depending on tear it may or may not have a 30torx screw retaining the cover! the cover can be a bit tight to remove try to slide a srewdriver down the side and give it a bit of a twist to rease it from its retaining clip and give it a tug at the same time, in there you will find all the fuses and conecters its a bit tight in there so be a bit careful,
cant tell you which fuse it is of the top of my head but it should be a red 10amp fuse, dont go poking around in there with a light probe, use a multimeter and test them all! power probing in the wrong place and puff uve blown a circiut on the multiplex network! 10p fuse becomes £200- £800 bill! so please take care! after youve fixed the fuse make sure you get the cover back on good and tight as they have a tendancy to let water in onto the top of the upc and short it out and corrode the connectors which leeds to heater fan inop sunroof door locks instrument panel etc opperating on there own its like being inside christine a car possessed telling you it freaked the living s--- out of me the first time it happened !
hope this will help good luck bigshow

megane side light fuses

Hi there
Been looking for the same fuses as my passenger side lights , front and back , had gone but after checking all the 10 amp fuses in the above panel under the bonnet with no joy I then started checking the otherfuses and finally found the culprit.....7.5 amp. Replaced that and on came my side lights ....hoora.
P.S had phoned my local Renault dealer and was quoted £88 for a diagnostic check even though I told him it was only the fuse that had gone and that I thought it was the 10 amp one.:steam:
Hope this helps

Thanks
