Din't know if anyone can help me? I have recently found that my key card isnot amways being detected when I use it - when I open the car door with the engine running it flashes up 'card not detected' and is not always locking my car either when I push the button. I have taken the carto a garage twice to see what the problem is, but they can not find anything wrong. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Do you have a spare keycard ? Does the problem happen with the spare keycard ? I think your keycard is about to give up the ghost tbh.

If you have a spare or if you can do without the car for a few days, its well worth having a word with Gary at www.keyrepair.co.uk to see if he can repair these faults. Below is a quote from his website, which makes me think he can repair these faults. His service is second to non and lots of members have used his service.

With Megane and Scenic keycards the usual fault is 'Card not Detected' or intermittent / none working Lock / Unlock.

Failing that I would says its a new keycard from Renault I'm afraid.
