Hi guys what a day
just bought a megane cabriolet diesel 1.5 and both really like it untill

mrs went out in the car today and had a blow out tyre was wrecked hole in the sidewall
so when i got to the car i did realise it didnt have a spare so used the pucture repair kit that was crap didnt work at all
so cutting it short got a tyre sorted now but wonder could a normal meganne tyre fit into the well it looks pretty big and to be honest were the tools and the jack are the foam thingy could come out any ideas guys as i feel i have to have a spare

I'm pretty sure a spare would fit, although you need to obtain a wheel/tyre combo close to the rolling radius of what's already on your car - a quick search; http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=...l+wheel&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

The foam really is only intended when the hole is of a certain diameter in the tread only.

thanks mate thats interesting i have seen a megane steel wheel very close to where i live surely that would fit in the hole its 4 stud the same as mine
