Hi , if i change the discs and pads on my car will i need any special tools ? and will i cause any lights to come on ( eg need re-setting with the laptop thingy ) . Ive changed discs and pads many times before on other cars , and the price of buying for about £50 ,and the garage charge of £175 to replace does`nt really need thinking about . Any tips appreciated , Buster .

PS , if anybody knows the best / cheapest place to buy , give us a shout , thanks again .

There are a couple of guides on the forums,one for a Laguna 1 and one for a Scenic 2,the arrangement is very similar/identical to your car.If you can't find them then get back to us and we'll point you in the right direction.

There will be no need to reset anything electronics wise.

As for where to get the parts,any decent local motor factor will be able to supply the parts,you could also try GSF or Eurocarparts (Google them to find your nearest branch).One thing to keep in mind is that you always get what you pay for,and brakes aren't something to be scrimping on if at all possible.
