We had a customer come in today with their Megane Scenic(2000 model year) which had a broken OSF electric window regulator.......The motor was turning, but the window wasn't moving. After removing the door card it was apparent that one of the plastic guides had broken and the cable had got mangled.

I phoned our local Renault dealer for price and availability for a new one,and surprise, surprise, they had one in stock(a common failure then:rolleyes:).Price........£187+vat.:eek:

It comes complete with the motor, but together with labour the customer was looking at a £250+ bill.Findapart to the rescue,then......

Did you get the plastic guide lag and if so how much?
After telling the customer the price of replacing it they decided to try and source a second hand one and have a go their selves!.

We haven't seen them since......
