I took my 1.5 Modus Diesel Auto for a run out today, about 100 miles, & was shocked to see the MPG average. Asked the wife to take a photo with her mobile phone.

It eventually went up to 74.1 from the 73.4 photo. Driving steady about 60 mph. Its a bit of a change to my 1.4 petrol Clio juice burner!

The fuel used does compare with the readings, however I will be doing my own check over a longer distance. Even if its out by 10% I`m chuffed.

heres a shocker for you, i've always found them to read 10% lower, than reality. when mine is reading 50mpg, i'm getting nearer 55mpg.

Renault's 1.5 dCi is known for its superb economy. I get 66-73 mpg every week from my Clio.
I'm glad this wonderful little engine has pleased someone else. I'm delighted with mine.
