hello to all,
I'm new to all this community forum stuff so apologies now!!
in order to save some money from garage charges
i wondering how easy is it to change the oil on a 06 plate modus??
I realize that i would probably need to take it to a Renault garage to reset the dashboard warning notice

Do a search on U Tube for modus oil change, there is a video showing the procedures. I had the link but its lost m8. Ita a bit fiddly, but within a DiY job.

You can reset the service intervals yourself with the "Mileage" reset button on the stalk.

There is no bother changing the oil. The very same as clio 16v. The oil filter is over the subframe leg on t.b. sideit can be a bit of a pain but is manageable. If your getting an oil filter tool make sure it will close small enough to grip oil filter.
When you lift the bonnet the moulding under windscreen can be removed easy aswell. A hand full of screws hold it down. Best of luck wit the budget service:d
