I have a 2005 megan cc with a 2.0ltr VVT petrol engine. about 12 months ago it started struggling to start having always fired up perfectly. I press the engine start button and it try's to fire up but unless I give it some revs it just judders and cuts out. when i last had it serviced (by a non dealership garage) they said it was probably the fuel filter only later to correct themselves saying something about how its not as simple as replacing the filters on these engines and it was going to be a big job.
Has anyone had this issue or could shed any light on what they were talking about?
