Got a problem with my 2006 Laguna Expression auto. All kinds of messages, yellow tool & ABS on, red handbrake and stop on, message reading check gearbox and speedo not working. Main renault dealer wanted £102 just to do diagnostic test so took it to a reputable firm, recommendation of a friend. Now being told faulty engine management system unit (not sure that is what it is called?). My options seem to be go to main renault dealer, get firm I have gone to to fit new control unit, (although I understand renault have to code it) or try and get existing faulty unit repaired. Any ideas and anyone know the cost of this part? Had car since new and only done 30,000 miles. Many thanks

Have they checked all earths etc as bad connections can give all sorts of errors on the dash

petrol or diesel ?
i have a few petrols with same ish symptoms cause by incorrect spark plugs .
what fault codes are they getting ?
sounds like an abs fault to me , check the connector down by the passenger front wheel for water ingress.
