Hi folks m sorry to ask a much asked question but..
I have just bought a 2007 version scenic 1.6 automatic of course it has the electronic handbrake which is working fine.
According to the handbook the emergency release is supposed to be in the boot but where it should be on mine seems sealed over.
Was it moved elsewhere?

There should be a cover over it.

i assume you mean some sort of blanking plug? that could be torn off? is there a pull ring beneath it?
