Hi, I have a grand espace 2.2dti year 2000
I've had it for a few months an all was well.
The other week the odometer suddenly jumped from
86000 mls to 722000 mls. I'd really like to put it back to
the original mileage.
As far as I can see the the speedometer an the odometer come from the ABS module an go to the eprom. I've checked for bad earth or dry solders but could'nt find any.
Is this a known problem or just bad luck.

Thanks, I'd ring him but I'm with the car in Spain at the moment, (I might as well be at home as it has'nt stopped b***dy raining)

Hello Does You Readout Have A Zero In Front Of It - If It Does It Means There's A Software Fault (According To Renault Main Dealers) Mine Has This And My Mileage Jumps Every Couple Of Month (Backwards And Forwards). Renault Offered To 'Have At Go' At Mine For £200 Upwards Wether They Mine It Or Not!!

Hi Tiny, no it dos'nt have a zero, it jumped after changing the battery, timing belt an water pump.

Mine Had A Zero First Of All, It Read 067*** After Taking Off The Battery It Read 174*** WITHOUT A Zero Now It's Reading 041*** Who Knows???
