2.2 dT Espace.

No problems until this evening, torrential rain, car got a soaking but started up no probs, but after 5 mins driving got STOP warning accompanied by oil pressure signal.

Checked oil level and at max mark. Tried turning off ignition and restarting, which it does fine every time, but after glow plug signal has ended OK stays illuminated for about 30 secs before STOP and oil pressure warning come on again.

No running problems that I can tell, wonder could it be water affecting the elctrics in some way?

Hope someone has a suggestion ?

Many thanks

If you have no nasty noises coming from the engine, then I suspect that it a case of moisture in the electrics.....

I guess you've had the engine running for some time for the warning light on,and if you have then engine damage and knocking noises would have already happened. My old Lag dTi had a habit of throwing the stop and oil pressure warnings on at random times, and I never found out where the problem laid, but topping up all the fluid levels seemed to help matters.
