I recently got one for a Aldi car park, I had parked the wife had gone in
wile I sat in the car but she did not notice that you had to put your reg
number in a terminal to prove you had been in the store, 6 months
or so later we get a parking fine, somewhat peeved at this I e-mailed
Aldi explaining what they could do with their carpark and store,
outcome was that they got the fine canceled and I still use their stores
but not that one.
I always thought it was out of order to sell details to these leaches
but I suspect they will find a way round or make it difficult for private
people to use this law.

Was at the dentist a while back at St.Davids hospital here is South Wales..on the wall of the waiting room was a notice that all visitors should put their reg into a terminal and by doing so they wont get booked for parking..nurses talking to my wife were saying the NHS is running this to penalise the staff and that the staff are constantly getting fined..also that some oldies are afraid to park there now and as there are no places to park out side the hospital are deciding not to come which is affecting their health and well being..my wife didnt want to take a chance parking there so it cost me £25 in taxi fares..next appointment is in Jan and I will be £25 lighter again..
Did used to be like this at this hospital just put up my blue badge and that was that..

Rip off Britain at its best..:frown2:

Liked your post Phil but not the predicament they are putting
visitors in.
