So which do you prefer?

I'm a diesel person myself.. good economy, matched with good performance.

You can't really go mad on the roads anyway, so the 180bhp is plenty at the moment.

Sorry there isn't a poll for electric powered cars.. I couldn't be bothered making a new thread in the jokes section!

I have driven plenty of petrol and diesel cars and it all depends on the car. Overall though I prefer the drive of a diesel. There is more torque (pulling power) which is delivered lower down the rev range and I find driving a diesel more relaxing and quieter then a similar size petrol engined car. Having said that though petrol engines have a wider spread of power through the rev band.

What can I say...I like to be different :d

And i hate the way my hands sktink everytime a fill up an oil burner.....horrible, nasty, smelly, gutless things :)

Well when I fill up, I don't wash my hands.. I rub them all over my neck!

Save's me spending another £30 on a bottle of this! :d

I'm with Pat on this I drive both reguarly and much prefer the petrol thang

Diesel for economy,petrol for everything else.

Petrol v Diesel is not really much of an argument though because in a couple of years time none of us will be able to afford to buy either anyway.:crying:
