Hello,
I've been looking into changing my transmission oil 1.9dci pk6 box.
Haynes manual says 2.2 ltrs as does the Renault manual for thePK6.
However I've read a number of threads here which say 2.4ltrs and 2.6 ltrs.
Which is correct?

Hi, I would say go with the 2.2l, I have the same box in my Trafic, I put in 2.4l and the box was fine but after I accidentally pulled a drive shaft out doing a ball joint, i lost a small quantity of oil. Since the loss of the oil the gear change has been smoother and lighter. I believe even when you drain the box there is still a small quantity of oil in there.
Best thing is to use a PK6 dipstick, I have seen a member put up a picture of the sizes required.

Cheers Tony 2.2 it is and I'll make a dip stick to be sure, I have a diagram somewhere with dims for the dipstick
