Hey all,

well i got a clio 1.2 16v 04 plated,

Well i had a accident sunday just gone and basically i have to fix me self coz the bloke who caused it - his insurance is invaild - great ant it.
Ne ways the damage ive done is plastic wind all smashed - wishbone ( new one needed ) and my right drive shaft has poped out & new tyre n alloy like which ant a problem but its the drive shaft and the wishbone... as the hole drivers side wheel assembly has pushed back..

Can any one give me a hand on what i will need or and advice on how to go about it as in what shall i do first i.e how to line it all back up etc..

plus ive got the airbag light hats stays on..

Andy, I'm no expert, but it seems to me that if the wheel ass'y has been moved back, there's a good chance that there's more damage than can be seen with the naked eye - engine mounting points bent etc. Ditto airbag light on.

Perhaps someone in the trade will be along shortly, but I reckon it really should be put on a jig to make sure that it's all square, and can be put back together and be safe to drive.

Can't your insurance help, or there's always the Motorist Insurance Bureau ( or some name like that, I think) which exists to help when you lose out through uninsured drivers. If you have legal cover in your insurance, they may help too. Try the CAB to be pointed in the right direction - no guarantees, but I hope you can get something back.
