Hi,:p

My black espace which also has black bumpers side trims (funnily enough) are colour coded. I only found this out when I got a chip on the front bumper and you could see the evidence of paint. It was not obvious they were colour coded as they are a slightly different black (colour and finish) to the rest of the car.

Anyway the question - I tend to use Turtle Wax (with colour) to polish the car - should I use this also for the bumpers etc or should I use something like back to black?

back to black is mostly for plastics, used that stuff on my interior at the weekend and worked a treat, anyway if you are polishing paint use the turtle wax. if you didn't buy the car brand new then someone might have had it colour coded before you bought it hence the 2 different finishes.

Hi there, it may be an idea to touch in the area that was chipped - if the bumper's been painted, it may well start to peel over time or if a pressure washer is used.
