just asking for a bit of information, my scenic 99-03 plate, if i take my hands off the steering wheel on a straight line it pulls slightly to the left ,i have checked the tyres they are not worn in any way, i have had the car for about 5 weeks and i cant say i have noticed in till today, any ideas ?, is it a common problem ?. can i fix it myself ?

If the steering wheel is having to be held to keep the car straight, the tyres will be wearing unevenly. Check for slightly greater wear on the inner treads of the front offside tyre. The possible causes are excessive toe out, a worn rear axle RH bushing, a worn front suspension component, a misaligned subframe or accident damage.

As long as the tyres aren't directional,swap them side to side and see what happens then.

And the most important thing to check is the tyre pressures!
