Help!

I've had a 02 reg Clio Authentique for about two years - never had any problems with the radio/speakers in the past.

In the last week when I switch the radio on it's fine for the first 5 mins or so (usually about the length of a song if I'm lucky!) and then it cuts out. The weird thing is that I can still use the CD.

I haven't got the standard radio that comes with the car - I've got a Sony 10-disk multichanger in the boot but this was fitted pretty much from when I bought the car.

A friend had said something about a fuse - any ideas?

Thanks ;)

Hi 8Lucy8

The cd changer in the boot is fed power from the radio in the dashboard...so i do not think it can be the fuse blown,if it was neither would work.

The fault seems to be with the tuner part of the radio, possibly heat related.Try when it goes off to tune another station FM or AM,if unsuccessful and the cd still works it could be an internal fault in the tuner.

:) :)
