Hi, does anyone know the procedure for changing the rear brake pads on my Safrane? It is the 2.5 TD 1996 and has no shoes, the handbrake uses the pads as well. I can get the pads out, but how do you wind the caliper piston back? Then how do you adjust the handbrake once the new pads are back on? David

I changed my rear brake pads shortly before christmas and I do not recall having to adjust my handbrake at all.
