rear door lock wiring

You didn't say it had a sliding door, it's a common fault that the connections go faulty, there are lots of posts about this.
Clean the connectors and make sure the pins slide freely, also check wiring behind connectors for corrosion. You may need to tweak things to align the connections
(That doesn't tally with the tried 5 or 10 times and it worked unless you moved the sliding door)
Hi Wozz, I am having a similar problem in that my barn doors are not locking as there is no voltage going to the lock. I have removed the lock and checked continuity between the cabling between the connector at rear pillar and connections to lock all good. Where does the voltage come from. I don’t have a schematic. I have lightly sanded sliding door contacts and applied electrical contact spray to no avail, I suppose I should remove contact on sliding door and check connections, what is your thoughts, regards, Noel
