I've a 2008 Grand Modus which hasn't got rear door speakers fitted but has the wiring already installed. My local Renault garage will supply and fit speakers but at a cost of around £300+! I went to Halfords in Salisbury who said cost would be £70 but when they examined the door they said they could not fit them without cutting the door framing about. I am no good at DIY - is there an alternative to being ripped off by Renault yet again or will I just have to pay up?

I suggest you seek the advice of either a good auto-spark or ICE specialist. And it's very likely the Renault garage may just sub-contract the job out to an auto-spark anyway.

Just be careful any work carried out doesn't infringe any warranty you may have on the car.
