Hello all

I've just purchased a 2003 laguna 2.2 dci initiale sports tourer, and discovered that the rear wiper and opening rear tailgate window do not work. The wash on the rear window functions correctly, and the main tailgate opens fine.

Any ideas? Is it a fuse, or a faulty rear wiper mechanism?

Thanks in advance

Hi Elvis - welcome to the forum.:)

The Lag II tourer has a history of seizing wiper motors and faulty tail-gate switches.

Remove the boot door liner and check for water ingress and faulty switches.:)

Thanks for both of the replies. I'll have a rummage around inside the tailgate this weekend and check them out.

Am I right in thinking that these are 2 separate faults then, and not one combined one?

From the sounds of it, it's going to be a dodgy switch for the tailgate, and a seized rear wiper motor for the wiper issue.

Out of interest, are they on the same fuse, and if so which one is it? Might be worth changing it first just to check.
