Is there recaro style seats in the GT that can transfer into a basic Lag II?

I ask as I just came out my friends Civic Type R and the comfort of his Recaro's is unbelievable!

If so where will I pick them up? Or where's cheapest to buy them?

Will his seats be as comfortable on a long motorway cruise?

To be honest the seats in the Laguna are one of the most comfortable I have sat in, never get back ache or need to adjust the backrest during a long journey.

The Dynamique and GT version do have sports seat fitted - not Recaro type but the bolsters are bigger & more bucket like,

Well I've just sat in it in a 6 hour drive up to Glasgow from the North of London and it's was a million time comfier than my Laguna.

My last car also had Recaro's fitted and they were as comfy as hell too.

I'll look elsewhere then for Recaro's and get them installed.

Hi Nell - Fitting different seats may mean you have no air-bags, seat-belt tensioners, etc Also it may affect your insurers as the Laguna II didn't get its 5 star rating for nothing. The sport seats are quite good - why not have a look for a set of them and you may be able to retain the safety aspects of your car - also the ECU may have to be reprogrammed.:)

I already have the 'sports' seats. They're useless!

When you've had proper 'sports' seats i.e. Recaro's you don't wanna go back.

I'll just go source them myself. Done it on loads of cars before without a problem.

I just wanted to find out whether the GT or other models had proper fitted recaro's to fit straight in mine rather than having to track down subframes etc.

Sorry Nell - but judgiing from you first post etc., I got the distinct impression your laguna II was basic as you clearly stated. I wasn't aware Recaro style seats were available for the Laguna range considering the seat belt and integral air-bag fittings, etc. Keep us posted of any developments as I'm sure others on this forum would be interested how easy or difficult the changeover would be.:)

Soz bad wording

By basic I meant the standard seats found in Lags rather than any special Recaro style seats etc that maybe the Gt or similar had.

Anyway I'll source Recaro's or similar from somewhere and get them installed. Had a few emails back from specialist that assure me it's a piece of cake to get them into a Lag :d I'll see lol

Will stick some pics up once done and let you know how easy it was :)

Yeah, same here. That's why I also suggested seats from a Dynamique or similar, as assumed you had a basic Lag.Sorry.
