Since I bought my Megane Coupe '96, whenever I start the car, the red light on the dash constantly flashes. To stop it, I hold down the door lock button for a few seconds until it flashes slowly, and then release. This stops it from flashing, but im concerned what it means.
The fob doesn't work, although the batteries are most likely dead, so I lock the car by going to each door and the boot and lock one by one. I only have one key. To open I have to open the driver door, then press the door lock button to open the other door.
The car runs pretty much fine other than this issue.
Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and can offer some assistance?
Also if i go through a car wash, water pours from the center console on the roof...
