I need to get the part number of centre multi function clock on my scenic RXE 1.6, Haynes makes no point about the front airbag!!

Im afraid I may set it off removing the top dash to get to the clocks ????

There is absolutely no danger in setting the airbag off by removing the top of the dash..

Cheers Webcode :d

Got parts from the UK, way far cheaper than here in Ireland! Even with the price difference Stl ~ Euro.

So by next week I'll be fiiting them new(ish) parts, happy days. Another expensive bill halfed in cost!!

I wouldn't bother disconnecting the battery as there are no power cables that you will disturb when you remove the dash top..

However "best practice" states that you should disconnect it..

The decision is yours

Wahhey!! All done ... Just bulbs blown on the radio display!:) So thats a radio display for ebay selling!!

1. Disconnect battery (-) terminal
2. Prise off speaker grills on front dash
3. Remove screws either side of dash ( 1 on each side )
4. Pull up dash carefully & remove
5. Everything in plain view to see .... :d :d :d :d

Then later under the hood, I replaced my airhose & filter ... All with the use of second hand parts which cost me less than half the cost of new from a renault garage here in Ireland!!:moonie:
