having egr probs,on my grand scenic 1.9dci 130bhp 2006, ordered new one from renault told there is a modification they can get the valve but not the wiring connector,till june 30th. can i blank off and remove the egr, will this cause any probs?

the engine will go into limp mode often and you could shorten the life of the turbo. The connector and pins can be bought separately, or from another manufacturer as most use the same connector.

had my egr blanked off, deleted egr and dpf with a remap cost £295 bhp up from 130 to 161,car drives fantastic, gets rid of all warning lights bliss.forgot to say also had to remove the dpf cut into it then removed the insides welded it back up.
