I'm currently learning to drive in my 2010 1.2 Clio.... Went for a drive last night with my Dad but on the way back the steering now feels extremely loose (if that's the correct term). From memory I'm sure turning the steering wheel for full lock was about 2.5 turns of the wheel... It's now between 4 & 4.5 turns to get full lock on. It just doesn't feel right.

Any ideas where to start looking before I give up? I don't want to take it to the garage yet incase i'm just being a complete idiot 😂

Ask your Dad to have a drive, see what he thinks, if he feels the same as you
Then basic checks, first, make sure wheels are secure, these will make the steering feel abnormal ,
Then its check air pressures .
Then its getting it looked at..
A indy garage will not charge a lot to check steering geometry over, but if in doubt GET it checked .
