Afternoon all,

Is is possible to carry out a straight-swap by removing the (standard) rear bumper from a 1999 (T-reg) 5 door Clio, and replace this with a slightly better looking (standard) bumper from the facelifted 2001-2006 models?

Are the mounting bolts all in the same place, or is there quite a bit of faffing around involved? It looks to me like it should be a straight-swap, but without looking in detail under the car, I'm not too certain.

Would be very pleased to hear from anyone who has attempted this.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

Hi i would think that it is a strait forward swap and if not you might have to modify it a little which should not be hard to do i hope this help Donald.

Haven't tried this myself but, I've been told that the mounting holes are in different places and may require you bringing a drill into play.
