I have just bought a 1996 1.2 Renault Clio Versailles and have no handbook - can anyone tell me the recommended tyre pressures.

Depends on what type of tyres are fitted - why not call into your local friendly tyre depot and ask them - don't forget to tell them your tyre size and spec. If you ask nicely most are willing to help.

I seem to have a flat tyre or possibly a puncture, so I need to know pressure, so I can see if some air will resolve the problem as I need to drive it tomorrow early before any tyre places are open

I have just had a look at the tyres - says 155 70 R13 on them

Hello, for that car with 155/70/13 tyres the pressures are, Front - 30 PSI, Rear 33 PSI. Figures quoted from the Haynes manual, no 1853, Clio 1991 to May 1998. Hope this helps, regards Damian. :)
