Hi
Since we purchased this car we have had nothing but problems, it has cost us a fortune and still we have the same problem after driving. Today it happened again after travelling home - journey done approx 70 miles. We stopped for petrol and the warning light came on and the auto gears stopped working. It jsut decided not to change at all. This has been ongoing and we have no idea why. We ended up doing the last 25 miles in no auto gear and at about 46mph. Most annoying for drivers behind. We have spent loads on the car and still no-one can find a problem. Does anyone know what is happening and can we fix it ourselves. The temp on the car was on 4 dashes and did not increase. Before we could turn engine off wait a few mins and it would seem to correct itself. Today it didn't. We are at a loss and hope someone can give us an indication of the problem. Bought the car ssecond hand and dealer said it had a new auto gear box, but I am beginning to wonder. Car is a T reg.
