Hi

I am new here, I cannot find the answer anywhere so hope you guys may know.

I have a Renault master its 2002, 2.2 DCI90
The engine is gone in it though

I am wondering will a 2.5 engine from a 1994 Master fit as I can get one of these for cheap.

As far as I know the engine in my van is a Renault and the 2.5 one is an Iveco, would that be right?


Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Fitting the 2.5 from the old type Master is a non-starter really,the engine is fitted in the opposite way to the later van,plus it won't fit the gearbox on the 2.2 dCi anyway.
