hi everyone
just bought a modus.o7.very pleased with it but it has bad drivers seat backrest wear. has anybody else had this problem with renault

I see a lot of seat wear on cars (usually the side bolster closest to the seatbelt) - is that where yours is wearing?

Is it a case of the material wearing through, or the stitching splitting? One is much easier to repair than the other.

yes Paul it is wearing through ...not the stitching.Laura at renault customer care has been very helpfui so far...i'll let you know the outcome

That is the more difficult to remedy tbh (without re-covering/replacing) the seat.

You may be able to minimise further damage occuring in the meantime by sliding the seat back a bit for entry & exit to the car.
