Anyone can tell me if drive shaft needs to be removed when replacing ball joint in this model. Many Thanks 1400 cc

Hi the Driveshaft will not have to be removed from the gear box but to get to the balljoint it is easyer to take the big nut off the end of the driveshft and then pull the hub away from the driveshaft to give you better access so yes and no is your answer all the best Donald

You will first have to take the nut of the ball joint and split the balljoint from it housing and then take the old one off the wishbone and replace the new one so you might not have to remove the big nut from the shaft but as i said if you do it will let you swing the hub and strut away from where you are working to give you more room
