Hi good luck, if it is the water pump it will need replaced you can not use those sealers that you get on the market because it normaly the bearing in the pump that leaks and you can not seal that moving part if you know what i mean, stick around iam sure someone will help soonIf it is faulty i could try taking it back where we got the car from but that would mean travelling a fair way and there would be bridge toll fees involved.
If i could do it myself i would probably have a go.
My dad and i changed a front anti roll bar on a 53 plate Skoda Octavia last weekend and that was pretty difficult i can tell you.
Going to check the car tomorrow to see if it is leaking or not.
my water pump totally collasped on my 1998 scenic it had to be replaced but because it runs off the timing belt that had to be changed too hope this helps u make up your mindJust got a 2000 scenic 1.6
I have my suspicions that the water pump is leaking.
If it is, how har is it to change the water pump?
Is it a DIY on the driveway job?
