Renault Scenic 2.0 manual 2002 .
No power to the fuel pump.
Car stopped in the rain on the kids
Fuel pump works if hot wired.
No warning/fault light on dash.

Car is being towed back tomorrow.

Where is the fuel pump fuse and relay?
Checked the fuses in engine bay near battery and all OK.

Any ideas?

Can't find a fuse reference, but, the relay is in the engine bay fuse box. You have 5 large relays in the centre, and 5 smaller in the bottom row, small relays, the one you want is the smaller one closest to the centre.

Fraser,
the daughter sent a picture of the relay/fuse panel.
Facing into the engine bay there are on the RHS three black relays.
To the left centre a violet and a orange larger relay.
LHS are large fuses.

The centre black one is the fuel pump?
This relay what else does it link to?
Injection ignition?

Just rain , which is unussual since we have been in drought, no rain for a year.

There is a thread on here covering this , and there is a wire that breaks inside the fuse box, the power supply to the relay ,

Find the fuel pump relay, see if you have power to one of the terminals when ignition is on ...
(Unlikely its this but Check if yours has a Fuel Cut off switch also, should be on the right hand side under the bonnet lid, just check this has not tripped .
Just give it a press,)

Deffo need a picture of the fusebox

( Assuming you are using A*D* here )

WONT be the computer Leave it alone.
You need to work out why no power at the fuel pump relay ,,.

Post your oval plate on here, cover your vin.
Lets see if we can find out what engine code is fitted,

Then someone might be able to tell you where the power supply starts from
