Hi all I was out in my Renault trafic 1.9 DTI 2003 with the F9Q750 Engine in it as I pulled away from the traffic lights to go down a nice hill it lost power and the engine stared very lightly ticking. So I pulled over and it stopped being an ex ford mechanic 20 years ago now I thought it had slipped the cam belt. So when the AA came out he pugged it up and it confirmed the timing was out so when I got it home I started stripping it down the belt was not snapped do you think it would have bent valves seems the ticking was so light. please help I brought one of them tools to lock the crankshalft on TDC but it never seems to find the hole and the cam shaft does not to have a locking pin on it like I have seen on others I have brought all the new parts water pump, cambelt tensioners, the belt don't have the white timing marks on it like I have seen so lads and lasses any idear how to time this thing up I would be so greatful.

Cam sprockets shear on the 1.9 so its cam timing that will need checking first
