Hey there,

I'd like to know if it is possible to change the engine of a Renault Trafic 2011, it had an M9R 786 115 DCI engine as far as I know but it doesn't work anymore. I already spoke to a mechanic that says the car would accept another engine. Is it true, if so, what would be the compatible engines?

I am really thankful to anyone that is willing to answer my questions because I am searching for a solution to repair this car for so long and I guess you are really experienced with this. Don't hesistate to ask more informations about the car if that is missing. Thank you once more.

The ONLY Compatible Engine, I know of IS an M9R 786
The Blocks Are, AFAIK the same.
Heads, Cams, Injectors Are different on /780 (former)
& DMF & DPF on the 2012 /630 (Later).

What @Nottnoc is telling you, the only engine that will go in, without changing injectors, Ecu, and possibly wiring, only the one with your engine code will fit

So, it is already out of the hood, injectors are all broken. Is it a problem of just fitting? There won't be problems regarding the usage of it?

Your ECU , this could give you grief..
Not sure what Ecu is fitted as only info I have is showing Bosch EDC From 2009

Dont want to speculate and say everything will be the same, and everything will fit..
