Does anyone know a way to bypass the immobiliser by entering somehow the 4 digit code that i found in my vel satis documents?

Ive read that for other Renaults there are basically 2 ways
1. With the pedal & wiper stalk ( pushing down the pedal and clicking the wiper stalk)
2. CL method ( holding down the cent lock button and couting the immobiliser blinks)

Why i ask? Cause my vel satis wont start and i want to eliminate the immobiliser as the cause of this. So if anyone knows some third method i would be very thankful :)

Will check what my Laguna does tomorrow as I start it (it's the same system) unless somebody comes along sooner. But I remember when my Clio had an immobiliser fault the red light flashed really quickly as it tried to start.
