I recently had the misfortune of my cambelt breaking during a trip to work, after reading the about the damage it causes and the possible cost to repair the problem I have managed to find a fully running engine to replace it.

What sort of cost would I be looking at to remove the current engine and replace with the reconditioned one?

The car is a Clio Privlage 16v 1.2 with 93k on the clock on a 52 plate.

Can anyone recommend a garage who can carry out this job in the Portsmouth area?

I missed the ''reconditioned'' in your post so i presume a new kit has been fitted.
Get a quote from a reputable independant garage in your area.
I'd say around a day and half all in depending if you have aircon' or not.
