Hello all! :d

I'm looking into buying an 05 Grand Scenic but have discovered that both the key cards have lost the emergency keys (the previous owners lost them because they kept falling out?! And didn't see it as a problem....but I do!)
The garage selling the car have said that they are going to order replacement keys, just wanting to check if this is possible to do without replacing the whole key card? If so does anyone know how long it is likely to take?

Thank you in advance for any help/replies.

yes its possible , can take up to 10 working days , but lately been coming in 3 to 4 days. they are also very stupid for trying to sell it without emergency keys.
ask them to demonstrate getting in the car if the battery goes flat.?

Thanks for your reply cockers :d

I can't believe they are trying to sell it without emergency keys either and certainly don't want to buy it without them. I have two small children and the last thing I want is to get stranded with them!

Out of interest, do you know how much replacement keys cost?

£21 + vat , roughly.
make sure you test the key when you pick it before driving off to make it sure it works as have a couple that have been order wrongly by the chassis number.
