I am now on my 4th sceen.

1 & 2 were stone chips...

3 was a replacement for 2 as he RAC did not put it in properly.

4 was fitted on Sat morning by AutoGlass following another stone.

I was so pleased with autoglass service, sent a mail to their MD...(not same for RAC sadly).

Still it beats cleaning them, they are sooooo far away and difficult to get to !

Hi there, the best bit of advice I can offer is to carry a tube of superglue in the car - when a chip occurs, apply a small amount to the centre of the chip - this will prevent dirt & water from entering (which can spoil the effectiveness of the repair), plus it should help to prevent it spreading. The repairer has to drill an access hole for injecting the resin - so you are actually helping to make his job a bit easier.

Hope that helps you for the next time!

Paul:)
